This is just the coolist thing ever , but what happens if you fall foward or backward or flip sideways..dont know if that is possible or not ..just curious?

From what I've read about this, it is still a prototype built by an engineer in Spain. But hopefully, he's still making progress on getting it to market. This actually seems like a more viable product to me than the Segway itself.

THIS IS ONLY REALIST FOR VERY MOBIL BUT NOT VERY DISABLED PEOPLE-LIKE ME- BUT I WOULD NOT FEEL SAFE WITHOUT A BACK-AND I AM PLUS SIZE AND VERY TALL-6'2" SO ITS TOO SHORT WITHOUT ENOUGH BREATHING ROOM-PLUS WHERE WOULD I KEEP MY OXYGEN?

This is great -OK - I want one! I'm a post polio para, tired of dealing with this massive power wheelchair and always sitting like a lump. When I ride a horse, my back and torso become straighter. The Doc tells me this is because sitting 'astraddle' extends the spine, tilts the pelvis a little and engages the abdominals - all good stuff. This guy's invention may do alot more good than just carting a body around. Keep us posted.

This is great for a younger person wth mobility problems, but I don't think a 60 or 70 year old would feel comfortable in it.
